The first hour Panos Prevedorus joins Carroll to talk about the just released study of projected costs for a fixed rail system on Oahu over the next 30 years. There are alternatives. During the second hour Carroll talks with Delores Lauing, who knew Mark David Chapman when he lived in Hawaii in the 70's. Chapman murdered John Lennon 30 years ago, on December 8, 1980. She provides some insight to his character and his life.
The annual Hawaii Yacht Club and Waikiki Yacht Club Holiday Lights Boat Parade, and Toys for Tots collection, is next Saturday, December 11, at 5:30 pm. It leave the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor and sails to the Aloha Tower Marketplace, with many activities taking place at the Marketplace. The public is also invited in to the two yacht clubs.
