December 31, 2017, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Carroll talks about some of his past investigations and the response of government entities to the public.
Carroll continues his discussion regarding State Senator Donovan Dela Cruz and his questionable involvement with the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor development through DTL, Ltd. Apparently, DTL, Ltd. also had contracts with, and therefore Dela Cruz received money from, Next Era, the Kapalama Canal development project next to the rail, and other companies dealing with the government. Isn't
it nice to have a state senator on your staff!
As Carroll explained last week, on 4/4/17 the State of Hawaii issued a purchase order to DTL, Ltd. to prepare a master plan, including public outreach, for the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor. The contract was issued by Ed Underwood and approved by the Department of Land and Natural Resources' Board Chair Suzanne Case. As a "10% owner", and employee, of DTL,
Ltd., Senator Dela Cruz is a direct beneficiary of the contract.

Carroll then talks more about others in government and their dealings, including Colleen Hanabusa and DLNR's Dan Dennison.
