CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU FINED AGAIN |
Anonymous sources provided documents and information to the "CARROLL COX SHOW" detailing recent legal actions taken against the City and County of Honolulu Kailua Wastewater Treatment Plant for 'willful" violation of closed space rules at their Kaneohe Pump station. The action was taken by the Hawaii State Occupational and Safety Health Administration. The violations netted the City and County of Honolulu a fine of $140,000. The fine comes on the heel of other, similar violations earlier this year which cost the City and County of Honolulu approximately $22,525.
