THE CARROLL COX SHOW

NEWS AND COMMENTARY

H.R 669

To prevent the introduction and establishment of nonnative wildlife species that negatively impact the economy, environment, or other animal species or human health, and for other purposes.

Some are concerned that this bill will negatively impact their rights to own, breed, import and rehab imported birds and many other types of imported animals.   Are the bill's introducers driven by special interest and politics, or are they driven by concerns for native species in the U.S. and economics?

Some are concerned that the demise of the native or indigenous species are declining because of impacts from farming, agriculture, pesticides, fertilizers, military and many other activities that are not being addressed in this bill.
